Amazing eye photos!

DH just showed me this website that he cam across... These pictures are amazing! Anyone ever seen an eye from this close before?

Makes me want to touch it! Those are SOO cool. When I was younger, I used to turn off the lights, get a flashlight and shine it in the mirror on my eye to see the colour.

That's awesome! I especially love the reflection of the grid they used to light them with. The iris looks like mud haha.

I would look a tons more. I have to say it does make me a bit queasy though. I am not sure if it is just too close or if it is because I am imagining something that close to my own eye.

Oh, it makes me miss my job! I've seen eyes even closer than that. I'm so amazed by the eye in general and when you get to really "see" it, it's phenomenal.

At my last visit they gave me an image of what is apparently the inside of my eye, it was crazy cool but you couldn't tell what was what - not like this

I, actually, saw an eye close, even closer. Through an ophthalmoscope. You do get a weird feeling... maybe because it is such a delicate substance. I don't think it is photoshopped, maybe a little. Very nice photos, thank you for sharing them!

In what way? This actually is what the iris looks like up close.

I have no idea...I just know photoshop is a crazy thing but I know camera's are too.


I've learned A LOT about the eye from a perception class I took but I never saw anything like this...amazing!
