Lol. I thought this was going to be for a different reason (although I love that movie!). The first several times I first came to this forum, I had a really hard time with the "I LOVE my STD's!!!" and "Problem with my STD's" posts! Obviously that has a different meaning outside of save-the-dates in the non-bridal world!

OMG! Me too! I thought, STDs????

When I first logged on, there were lots of threads titled:

HELP ME WITH MY STDs! (I can refer you to a gyno!)

OMG, MY STDs HAVE A TYPO! (Wow, I know chlamydia is hard to spell but...) LOL!

MY STDS! FINALLY GOT THEM!!! (Never had one, but my overall impression is that they were bad? Do they come with free diamonds?)

Hahahahahaha! Yeah, I learned that acronym pretty fast!

LOL, I have thought about that too! Then I realize it''s ''save the date!!''

And my dad gets his prescription meds mailed to my house (he has a PO box), the package is always labeled in huge letters "STD" - meaning ''standard'' shipping, but I tease him when it''s delivered and tell him his ''STD medicine'' is ready to be picked up!

AHAHAHA! This is hysterical. The first time I ever read STD, I think my jaw fell into my lap. I frantically started reading to try and figure out what on earth it referred to, and when I finally did, I thought "REALLY!" Call it something else! Yeesh!
