Almost there! Need your help on setting PSers!

I've seen some examples of these two rings on PS but not sure which would go better with an Emerald Cut.

What is your opinion?

Or is there another setting you would recommend with a budget around $1500? This is the best I could find with great quality for prices. I'm looking to get a plain platinum wedding band.

I love the antiqueish pave setting like Michael B or Vera Wang but cannot afford those. I appreciate it!

Have you seen settings like either one is person? There is a very different look to the slightly larger melee in the fishtail pave comapred to he milgrain and channel set first option. I like larger diamonds in pave myself. Tiffany is a good place to compare. They have bands in both styles! ETA The Legacy and the Novo.

That is a fantastic idea! I think I will do that tomorrow! The closest one was about an hour and a half away but it's worth it.

But from irl pictures on PS of those rings, I'm leaning more toward the fishtail. And Tiffany's Novo seems a lot thicker than the fishtail, although that is not my preference... my fiance would like that.

Today was SUCH an exciting day! I finally got to pick up my diamond and see it for the first time, get it appraised and got to stop by the Tiffany store!

Just a side note but... IT'S STUNNING. And I never knew how much fire an EC could really have. I mean it was on FIRE! I took two pictures of it in a dark room(basement) with my cell phone and I can barely make out the diamond because there is so much fire/scintillation from the diamond itself! The appraiser told me that I have a total winner and it was a magical stone (could be some fluff)... and that I must have done my homework very well to have bought a diamond like that on the very basic specs of depth, table, 4C's and girdle alone and pay in full without even seeing it! Spent three months of research, two of them on Pricescope!

My stress is melting away!

And from our trip to Tiffany's we both agreed that we like the fishtail/Novo better... however the Legacy was so thin, like <1.5mm and a halo so that could have affected it. We're leaning toward the fishtail but I think I have a couple more days to just keep looking at pics of PSers fishtails and micropave before making the final decision. Everyone's so half and half about micropave versus fishtail.... but I still can't tell which one would look better with an EC!

I think they''re both equally nice. You''ll see less of a metal look with the fishtail pave though.

Another dissenter here...I like the truth micro pave and here is why...I think the finished edge of the band goes much better with an
EC then the fishtail. I think it is a cleaner look and that to me matches more with an EC. If you were asking about a round I would be
voting for the fishtail.

OH! I was thinking you would try on the wedding bands in the legacy and novo styles! That would allow you to see the pave style without the distraction of the halo or the diamond on the ring! Maybe another trip?

And great news about your EC. Is there a thread with pictures? I would love to know the specs etc.
