Hello there, great site and great info. Thank you to all who have contributed. I am close to purchasing, and was interested in your thoughts on these two -

It seems to have excellent specs except for the SI2 feather, which unfortunately is in the table. I can see it in the magnified view on their site. FWIW, one of their reps said it is eye clean, I'm taking this with a grain of salt. In this size stone, will this likely catch our eyes? Also, I've read though discussions on durability. If this breaches the surface at the table is this a cause for concern? Should I run away? I think I read somewhere that I'm more likely to be hit by a bus than have a diamond actually break but I thought I'd ask.

This is the competition. Slighty lower color/size, but SI1. Seems to have a scattering of inclusions, but nothing front and center. Will scattered black spots stand out more than the feather in the first? This one also scores lower in HCA - 1.3 to 1.9. Is that a difference maker, or is it just personal preference once under 2?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts, you guys/gals are great.

The SI2 faces up a little bigger (not hiding weight in the girdle like the SI1), but the inclusions are dead center. It has some black spots, too, besides the feather. I dunno about either one.

Edit: I think I like the SI2 better. Best cut.

Thanks for the feedback. Would you say that I should continue searching? Will these be wildly noticeable? I feel like glancing down at a ring, I will notice cut and color before an inclusion. That being said, I haven't looked at many diamonds in person, and I don't want a feather in the table, or black spots, to be the first thing anyone sees. Is that what these are?

Would something like this be worth the sacrifice in color, polish and symmetry? -

Thanks all!

Extra info - white gold band. Would prefer to stay with Ritani as I haven't found a band I like as much anywhere else. I'd prefer to avoid ordering from separate places as I'll have to then pay someone local for setting.

Anyone else? Hoping to pull the trigger here by morning.

Anyone? Lots of views but only one opinion. These must be leaving everyone speechless...
