So I almost bought the AGS-6849602(right side pictures) from White Flash and I really loved it. Unfortunately something happened and I was not able to purchase, but I hope to again soon, but doubt it will be available.

I visited in person and without knowing anything about them that is the one I picked. Comparing it to the other one though in this
link I don't know that I would be able to tell the difference. I may have even looked at this when I was deciding on them. They all looked awesome and any of the 5 or so I looked at would have made a great ring.

From what I read the more red in the ASET the better, but what about in the Idealscope? I just know in person it looked great. Will the I color (left side pictures)make a difference once mounted? It will be in a platinum ring and is $1100 cheaper.

Thanks for the help!

With fancy stones like princesses, stick with the ASET image. For these two they will have distinctly different patterns, so make sure you like the new pattern. For more people an I would be just fine, but if you are particularly color sensitive you may notice some warmth from the side.

HOw does the pattern affect how the stone looks in real life? I mean the sparkle and the dance? I''m trying to pick out a princess stone online and I''m sooo nervous that I won''t like the "pattern" once I get it. I never realized that they are so different. But I do know that I like some and not others in the store to some degree. I just don''t know how to translate these ASET and IdealScope images to "real life" pics. Thanks!

What you could do is ask for a couple more pics of each diamond, or also ask for one of the experts such as Brian Gavin to look at each diamond for you and talk you through the merits of each. He would be able to describe many things about each diamond which can help you with your choice. Alternatively you could perhaps see if you could have each diamond sent to an appraiser near you so you could view each diamond, you would need to consult WF if this idea appealed to you. Also ASET are considered better suited for fancy shapes than Idealscope, so those are the images to concentrate on.
