Here's what I've read
Dreams from my Father - very good, even though I don't like him too much.
Mastering the art of French Cooking - Loved it, and plan to really work my way through some of the recipes some day.
Zen and the art of Motorcycle Maintenance - Really great book, a must read.
The elements of style - boring but educational
Nickel and Dimed - Fantastic book!
The Joy of Sex - meh, read it in high school for no particular reason.

I have to say I disagree with some of this list... or find things missing I guess.

Mein Kampf - Hitler
Living to tell the Tale - Gabriel Garcia Marquez
The Diary of Anne Frank
The Origin of Species - Charles Darwin
The Varieties of Religious Experience
The Fabric of the Cosmos
How we Die
The biographies/autobiographies of - Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Helen Kellar, Winston Churchill, Mark Twain
Jane Goodall's books
A Short History of Nearly Everything
An Inconvenient Truth
Eats, Shoots, and Leaves
Diary of a Slave Girl
Under the Tuscan Sun
Three Cups of Tea
Angela's Ashes
Secretariat
Democracy in America

In Cold Blood is on the list. :)

The article stated that the list consists of the best books since Time Magazine first came out so that explains why The Prince isn't on it but not some of the others.

I too was disappointed in the lack of biographies. And if you're going to put a sports book in a list, Secretariat by William Nash has got to go on it. Until now, its the only sports-related book that got recognized outside of the sports world.

Thanks Amelia, I missed both of the above.

I 100% agree about Secretariat. It's one of my favorites.
