Tawn, I just wanted to tell you that Kolowna and the OK left a very strong impression upon my DH and I! We absolutely loved it, and if feasible, would move there in a heartbeat. It was just stunning and you are lucky to go so often to visit.

I hope you have a great visit next month!

Sorry Heather, I totally missed your post until right now!

We had a short visit in Kelowna due to the darn house thing! But, it was so much fun while we were there! We got to spend Canada day at the park behind that huge Dolphin statue by the Grand...and a childhood friend was playing with his band, so fun was had by all! We also floated down the Shuswap river with my teenage party buddies, and had a total blast!

House prices in Kelowna have tripled in the last 3 years, and it''s unaffordable for most people at this point. My dad has a place a little north in Vernon, and the price has almost doubled as well....it''s crazy! But, such a beautiful area! I feel lucky to have grown up around there!

We just got home a week ago, and I''m already ready to go back...and feel a little bit ripped off that we didn''t have more time to play!

Hi Tawn:

Sounds like you had a great Canada Day! I know exactly where you were and it''s beautiful there!

As soon as we got back home I was on mls.ca looking at waterfront homes in the OK valley area including Kelowna, and as you say - the prices are very expensive. Oh well, a lady can dream right?

Hopefully you can spend more time there next visit and have an enjoyable holiday now that your house is sold.

Love Victoria...it''s so gorgeous! I love the coast of BC, and there is no place on earth like it...when it''s not raining! I can handle a couple of days of rain here and there, but not from November through March!! It''s so funny that you just pop over that mountain range and you''re in semi-arid desert with rattlesnakes and everything! Gotta love the Pacific Northwest!

Do you get to head over there often? I haven''t been to the coast for about 2 years, and we just can''t find the extra few days to pop over the mountain when we''re up there!

Tawn, I was thinking about you and that I hadn''t seen you around in a while......how are you? Hope all is well with you and your family.

Hi there!

I had to have some surgery (no more attempts at babies for us), and have been slowly getting back to normal! Other than that, all is well and I hope I run into you on here soon!!

Thanks for thinking of me, and I hope everything is going well for you and yours!

Hi Tawn,

Sorry to hear that you aren''t able to try for another child anymore. I know how hard that is and hope you are at peace with it. How''s that son of yours? Getting really big I''m sure....they grow up way too fast don''t they?!

Glad that you are around again and getting back to normal.

My son turned 13, and I had finally lost most of the fertility drug weight (gained 17lbs this last round)....and after 12 yrs of trying, it was just time to throw in the towel! I was having some issues, and it was just getting exhausting so I finally just had them schedule the surgery.

I keep waiting for the depression that I was sure was going to hit when it was really *over* and I couldn''t have babies for sure, but it''s all good! I think I had actually realized it wasn''t happening a while ago?! Who knows...but I seem to be pretty sane so far.

Are you having any spring yet? My In-Laws are in Maine and they''re still getting hammered with bad weather! Sometimes I miss the seasons so much...well, spring and fall anyway!
