All 33 Chilean Miners Have Been Rescued!

I just watched live video coverage of the ascent of the last rescue worker, Manuel Gonzalez, from the Chilean mine where the 33 miners had been trapped. The last miner, the foreman, ascended about an hour ago. Then the rescue workers who had remained below ascended. I found it incredibly moving, as did the rest of the world. (It was on in my bank on a television set when I walked in today and everone was riveted to the set.) It is wonderful when a disaster has a, "happy" ending! Certainly this disaster had a miraculous ending!

This gave me goosebumps. I am SO GLAD they are all out, and have survived. It is amazing what people can accomplish to help one another.
