@Matata, I think you have mentioned you like martini’s and Grey Goose. Can I overnight you a bottle of Grey Goose to take in your carry on? The flight attendants may be a too little busy if things start happening to concern themselves with passengers having beverages. An added bonus is if you want to share you will probably make a few new friends.

All kidding aside have a safe flight and a wonderful trip.

Thanks @Calliecake. I had intended to take the edge off PRIOR to getting on the plane seeing no reason to wait until I'm facing death to self-soothe My flight is at 7:00 a.m. and I'm fairly positive I won't be the only one calming their nerves in the airport bar.

I leave Friday to visit our first grand baby. Since she’s a newborn I don’t have to worry about traumatizing her when I drunkenly stumble from the plane carrying one of its doors under my arm

I’m crazy but Alaska Airlines still has the best service in the sky so I will still be doing my Chicago to PDX trip on a regular basis. Besides, my son just missed a free door by 1000 ft.
