Hi

Ive recently ordered a ring for 10 year anniversary, and im scared of what its gonna look like when it gets here. Most likely because i havent tried it on, and havent seen the diamond. The setting is a scott kay, and although its pretty to me on the picture, it looks like a drawing with the various shades of gray..ive never seen a scott kay setting in person. I dont have any family and just a couple friends and a husband that will like whatever i do, thats why i need you guys. Ive been goinn nuts searching for my diamond and ring for a good 2 years, and now i need to get over my addiction of searching. The diamond is .81 G, SI1 and triple ex with 1.1 HCA. I wanted a classy setting different, and not to ering looking since ive been maried for a while now.

So i guess i need to know im not the only one liking this setting. Did i pick the right size diamong for halo? Thought a 1 carat was a littletoo big. Does scott kay setting usually as pretty in person than in picture? Should i stop worrying, it wont b pretty in person?

Please give me ur opinions, i need reassurance,

I think it will be very pretty! Scott Kay settings are very well made. I think everyone gets a little nervous waiting...so this is normal. Were you able
to try on any split shank rings so you know that you like them?

No i havent tried one like this one, i wasnt sure if i was gonna wear a wedding band since im already married and the band i received when we got married was from walmart..woulnt go with this ring, yellow gold. But this ring got the 2 in one look, but tyty thank u so much for the reply, this is my third post since ive been a member and i never received more then 2 replies so i really appreciate

Well, for what it''s worth, I think it''s gorgeous!! I really love this look, a nice amount of bling but still elegant and tasteful. I also think the .81 stone will look perfect. I don''t think you have anything to be worried about, I think it will be beautiful! And from my reading on PS, Scott Kay settings are well regarded. Please come back and post hand shots when you get it, would love to see it!

Thank u very much, feeling better already, i will make sure to post a picture on show me the ring thread when i get it. i really appreciate the feedbacks might be silly but was starting to loose sleep over it.

I too have heard very positive things about Scott Kay. The halo type setting (i think that is what it is called) is quite lovely and will add to the impression your stone makes. The split shank can "double" as a wedder until you decide what you might want to do. I say - good choice - it''ll be lovely.
