AGS000 quick question!

Hi, I posted this in my thread on SMTR but I think this is really the right place to ask.

Does AGS000 mean D/IF, excellent cut? Or are the three 0''s for excellent polish, symmetry, and cut?

That is...and check me...the latter is contemporarily true...and the former...classically, formerly true.

Obviously...you can look for the color & clarity features to make sure you''re getting what you want, anyway.

Technically AGS000 means 0 cut grade, 0 clarity grade and 0 color grade.

There are three components to the AGS 0 cut grade, so many have started using the term AGS000 to mean that the cut grade is a 0. This is not actually correct.

Some of us will refer to an AGS0 cut grade to avoid confusion.

" AGS Ideal™ " does this mean they trademarked the term Ideal? I thought all the hooplah about other vendors using the term ideal was cause AGS hadn''t trademarked the term

Without checking further...just looking at your use of quotes...it''s around two terms, not one. Right?
