Here is the AGS (triple zero (0)) diamond I was talking about for $6100 as compared to a GIA 1.21, G, VS2.

AGS - Oh, and it''s "eye clean".

Shape and Style: Round Brilliant
Measurements: 7.04 - 7.07 x 4.34mm

Cut Grade: AGS Ideal 0
-Polish: Ideal
-Symmetry: Ideal
-Proportions: Ideal

Color Grade: AGS 0.5 (E)
Clarity Grade: AGS 6 (SI2) ****Eye clean****
Carat Weigth: 1.298 cts.

(Looking at the diagram of the diamond on cert)
Table 53%

(Right side of diamond diagram)
- Top - 34.3 degrees
- Bottom - 40.8 degrees
- Depth 61.6%

(Left side of diamond diagram)
- 16.0%
- Faceted 1.0% - 1.7%
- 43%

Is this a good stone for the price?

Oh, flourescence is "negligible".

It has got exceptional numbers!

The table is a little smaller than the usual (more in the 55-57% range), but it surely has a killer crown/pavilion combo!

I think it's fairly priced... Finding an eye-clean SI 2 in the 1ct+ range is not that easy nowdays.

So, all in all, is this a great or good diamond?

It is a great diamond, in my opinion!

By the numbers it sounds like a great diamond. I have nothing against a little bit smaller table, in fact, I think I prefer it. Have you seen the diamond in person, or have you seen any pictures, like idealscope pictures, H&A pictures, etc. that might help confirm it's optical qualities? Good luck in your purchase. To echo Giangi, a truly eye-clean SI-2 of that size is a great find.

Thanks for the advice. I have not seen it, but I do have confirmation from a good source that it is beautiful and it is eye clean.

I think I will get this one of you think it'll make a great engagement ring? Ideas?

Thanks
