AGS ideal cut but poor looking idealscope?

Was looking at this potentially as a stone upgrade for an anniversary. Thoughts? AGS ideal cut, but the idealscope on the paperwork looks like there is a lot of light leakage. I was under the impression that an AGS 0 "should" be a top performer, that HCA analysis was not necessary.

Thoughts? The price is reasonable for an AGS 0.

AGS0 is a range. It is a much smaller range than GIA Ex but still a range. There are some stones better than others.

Get an idealscope image from JA. That will tell you if you have something to worry about.

But the price is great on that, and the leakage may not be eye visible enough to justify not buying it.

I'd ask about it's eye-cleanliness as well - that inclusion under the table looks pretty obvious.

Yeah, I can't stand an inclusion like that right under the table, personally. It is also too deep so faces up smaller than an ideal cut with better depth. Pricing is based on what you're getting.

I'm not a cut expert like others on this thread...but thought I'd chime in nonetheless--that inclusion is a total game changer for me. It reflects all over that stone, if that is acceptable--fine, otherwise, I'd keep looking, just my two cents Good luck in your search!
