Doing a PS search for AGS graded asschers between .5 and 20ct brings up 5 none of which have the cut grade.

From inside the industry is there any movement with this product that isn''t showing up here?

My opinion is that the top asscher cutters are mainly very traditional and stuck with GIA and that other than maybe some sample stones haven''t bothered with it.

Paul who I expected too be the first out the gate with them has said he wont be doing them because of rough availability.

Anyone have any other info? opinions?

strmrdr, I wish I had any info on this, but am just becoming interested in asschers. I know you are an expert. May I ask, where are your favorite places to shop for them?

GOG, JA, ERD and WF have all gotten in kicken asschers for clients.
GOG has the best call in policy with 2 free and better pictures and video otherwise any of them will be fine with some help interpreting the pictures.
GOG has become one of the biggest asscher sellers anywhere which helps him weed them out quickly and find stones that might not be available elsewhere.
I''m becoming a fan of using video despite its limitations as a tool in the selection process and GOG is the only one to do so that I know of on a regular basis.
