ketchup87,

Once you are logged in you should be able to go under the Tab: MY PAGES >> Image Control Panel. That will give you the option to upload images. Once they are uploaded to your account you can put them into your posts.

Hi ketchup87

I have a truck load of experience with BN - both Signature cuts and normal. My experience has been universally good. In the dozens of diamonds I have bought from them (I received 3 last week, for instance) I have returned 2 - 1 because it was whiter than I expected (!!) and I wanted it to match a larger stone I already had - and one because I wasn't entirely happy with its performance, regardless of great stats.

But against that one stone (I'm not counting the stone which was actually BETTER than what I was looking for), I have lots and lots of stones I have bought from them with which I have been entirely happy. The Signature cuts are great, though I've found MANY stones which aren't Sig cuts that were equally beautiful, so long as I am careful with my choice and do my due diligence. These stones compare competitively with signature cuts I have bought from stores such as GOG and BGD.

I should also add - I have always found BN to be honest regarding their stones. I have at times requested photos, and have been provided with them, though this has been with larger stones. I've also on occasion inquired about stones and been told they were *not* eye clean - information I have appreciated.

The Sig cuts come with a guarantee to be eye clean - though there's always those eagle eyed amongst us for whom this might not hold true. My own experience, though, is that the Sig cut stones are reliably beautiful.

I'm not entirely sure what the GCAL report is - though it *seems* to me to be vaguely similar to an ASET in the way it shows facet pattern. At very least, it shows light performance of your actual stone, rather than a generic example. For me, the GCALs have always been useful in depicting an accurate reflection of the crispness of the facets and the internal pattern.

So in summary, I would proceed if you find a stone you like - especially if it's a Sig cut, if you've spoken to them regarding the stone you like, and if you've done your due diligence on your purchase. And if the worst comes to the worst - you can return it, no questions asked.

Hope this helps!

Heres the certs and images i was sent to review. Whats everyone think? Is $5k a good price? This is a preloved stone

Ketchup -

I can't make out the angles and percentages in the photos you posted - way too small for me.

But if the stone is an AGS triple 0, it's a pretty safe bet, even with all other documentation aside.

Just a question though - what do you mean it's a 'pre-loved' stone? This is a new one on me; I've never heard of that from BN.

ETA Your stone is around $2k+ less than signature BGD, GOG and JA True HEarts stones of the same color and clarity. If you think you would be equally happy with this stone, then it's an excellent deal. Given that it's an AGS triple 0, and a BN Sig cut, if it were ME, I'd proceed with confidence. But everyone has their own levels of comfort and, as I said, I can't see the stats on your post.

If it's an old AGS report, its cut grade may be graded on their 2D proportion-based criteria rather than the newer 3D ray-tracing light performance.

Even though AGS was a decade ahead of GIA for cut grading, a proportion-based grade isn't the modern way to do it if one can help it.

Your images are fuzzy but it looks like the older report. :read:

The images were just screen shots from my phone....
its preloved in the fact a 3rd party vendor is offering to me "used"

The ags cert is from 2005

Table 57%
Depth 61.6%
34.3 /
And 40.5 angles

Hca .6.
