I''ve converted to rounds! But I''m a little confused. The AGA Cut Chart shows the total depth % range for a 1A as 58.00%-62.30%. But then it shows the total depth% range for 2A-4B cuts as 62.99. That means that a 58% depth cannot be a 1A since it is less than 58.3%. Am I missing something?
Just a consumer here. I think that you need to read it as a whole rather than just the pavillion angles. I think the crown angles need to be taken into the equation also. I am sure Oldminer or one of the other experts here will be able to reply to you though. e.g. whether it is a shallow stone or a steep deep stone depending upon the crown and pavillion angles, table and total depth are also part of the picking of the cut too.
One of my IT guys tells me this mistake has been corrected. I really appreciate someone taking the time to find it and also to tell me about it. We want it to work right..Thanks.
