Affordable wedding invitation websites?

Anyone do their own wedding invites or buy online have a good experience they''d like to share? I''m looking to either buy a kit online and do the printing myself or just order online but the issue is I want something elegant and relatively nice without having to pay $$$$$$. Any suggestions on professional sites for a good price?

I ordered my invites from a store, but my friend ordered her invites off of vistaprint.com

The prices are really good, and her invites came out really nice.
