Very beautiful.
The brooch looks 1950s 1960s to me. I cant quite make out the hallmarks. If it is a piece from a quality retailer ie Tiffany it is worth more than the sum of its parts (gold and diamonds). Value would be largely determined by gold weight and assay plus the diamonds. It seems quite a substantial piece and very eye catching. Without knowing the details, I’d say around $3,000 maybe more. If a signed designer piece, $5,000 plus.
The ring is very beautiful. It appears to be an emerald and diamond halo ring. Date wise I’d say modern as the diamonds appear to be round not old cuts. They seem to be of good colour and clarity and the emerald is also a good colour. Price wise $2,000 - $3,000 or more depending on actual diamond carat weight.

I think Bron is spot on with her age estimates. Please note prices can vary based on where you live. Vintage brooches aren’t very popular where I am so I would put a value around $2,000-2,500. The emerald ring is very pretty. Emerald prices vary based on treatments and origin. You would need a reputable lab, not just an appraiser, to tell you that. Are there any stamps on the ring?

Definitely bring the ring to be appraised by an independent appraiser. We have a list up at the top I think it resources or maybe tools. The ring especially is amazing.

Just curious, would you sell these or keep/give to a wife or GF or daughter or your own grandkids? I’m asking because a lot of us have collections that we hope will convey to people we haven’t met down the line what amazing people we were lol.

Your grandmother was one of us seeing those pieces. She must have been a stylish and cool woman, :wavey:
