Hi

My partner gave me this ring for our engagement, but I hate the yellow gold. It was his grandmothers ring, and I want to use the diamonds. I am looking for ideas I cant decide between rose gold or white to highlight the stone better (its .82).

I really want something that I can find a band to go with it, as the baguettes seem to be an uncommon cut.

Thanks!

Why not just Rhodium Plate it? It will cost 50-130 bucks for a good thick plating. And you'll have to get it done every so often depending on how your body chemistry affects it. Wink at HPD did mine and he did a great job.

I did consider that, however we were told that we would need to have a couple of the claws repaired, so I thought we may as well get it changed now. It isn't what I would have picked.

This is more my style:

So any suggestions to what we could have done, and I need to arrange my wedding band too, so any suggestions for that would be great, I am finding it hard to find things that have baguettes in them.

I should have also added I live in Adelaide, Australia.

Ok. Well your center stone is never going to be size of that one. Are you sure it's the settings you are loving in that picture, and not the proportions?

Are you willing to buy something from the US? If so what is your budget?
If not, that makes things harder.

I love the look of a big cushion on a dainty band, but I do have slightly pudgy fingers so that may not suit best.

Would be happy to buy from the US, budget is 1500-2k

I really love rose gold, but have been told it doesn't let your diamond sparkle as much? my diamond has a slight inclusion - currently hidden by the claw. And I was told that baguettes are the least sparkly of all the diamonds
