advice regarding this stone

Hi,

My local jeweler just sent me information about a stone he thought might be interesting for me. I am currently looking for a superideal cut VS, F-G round briilliant.
Is this a great perfomer or not? Any advice would be appreciated! This stone costs 14800$ tax included.

It might be a great performer but that angle combo requires an ASET or Idealscope image to check for leakage, will you be seeing the diamond in person? The price looks a bit steep but if it is with a store jeweller then typically the price will be higher.

It could be, but no way to tell for sure. The price is a bit high, considering I bough the exact same size, color and clarity for over 2000.00 less online. But if it''s a local shop, they will usually be more. How much more you want to go is up to you.

If you are really interested, I''d buy it only if there is a solid, no questions asked return policy. Where you get your money back, not store credit. Then have an independant appraiser look at it.
