Advice please! 2.7 I SI1 or 2.6 H VS2? Both AGS000

Hi, I'm newly engaged and shopping for the perfect stone.. This has been a long process, but I think we're down to the final choices. I want a one round solitaire in a simple thin setting to showcase the stone.

I have looked at both stones.. to me, they are identical. I am drawn to the I because I can tell it is slightly bigger, but want to get the best investment for the money and .1 carat is not a huge difference. The I is a "smidge" warmer when looking from the side and comparing to the H.. Something only I would notice. But, the 2.6 I can tell is a "smidge" smaller. These stones are both performers.. Gorgeous. I saw table and depth etc when I looked at certs and everything with that was where it should be, but will get that info to post, as well. They are both within budget.

First choice:
2.7 carat - 27,990
I
SI1 - eye clean, only inclusions on sides, none in center of diamond, does not visually effect performance.
AGS 000
No fluorescence

Second choice:
2.6 - 26,690
H
VS2 - only inclusions on sides, none in center, does not visually effect performance.
AGS 000
No fluorescence

Also, do you think H or I color is bright enough or should I look for a smaller stone in the d-f range?

I'm not color sensitive, but I would probably go with the H because the "I" really isnt that much bigger to make it worth it. If the
"I" was a lot bigger than I would go with the "I".

Can you give us the mm size of the stones? Are they both equally appealing to you with ignoring the size/color difference?

I do not think you need to go with a smaller stone. A H/I AGS000 should face up pretty white (IMO). It doesnt sound like you
are color sensitive so it's not an issue for you.

You do know that diamonds are not good investments. Are you wanting to get the best bang for your buck?

Edit - with all the above being said...go with the one that pulls you. You seem to have an inclination that it's the "I"...so if
that's what your head/heart tell you...go with it. (That's what I'd do )

Can you post pictures of the stones?
