That guy has anything and everything listed on Etsy-- like too many things.. When I was searching I wish I could have blocked all of his listings! Ugh. So maybe it's the irritation from that speaking but I would be very wary that he uses the same picture to portray wildly different items-- different cut, color, totally different carat weight (like 2 carats off). Also, EGL International certs aren't known for their accuracy so if you find something you think you love online, make sure there is an iron-clad full-refund for any reason kind of return policy in writing.

Just a thought, if you're in to the baguettes on the side and might consider an OEC (I was torn between the two), you can get a lot of rock for your money checking out NKOTB's gorgeous ring posted over in the Preloved section. Otherwise there are people on here way more knowledgeable who could suggest a reputable jeweler to make the ring you want with a stone you're happy with.

two red flags right off the bat:

EGL cert
and the fact that he uses stock images rather than real images of each ring

RUN!

Thank you I got an eerie feeling when I noticed the same picture and the wide range of diamonds offered. I did ask him about the use of the same picture for both rings and he mentioned that it is just to show the style of the ring. It did seem too good to be true. Thanks I will stick with the reputable sites offered to me in a prior posts. I do appreciate all of your help!
