Advice on two diamonds.

Hi everyone,

I've recently ventured on buying an e-ring online with Ritani. I've set my budget to around $3k and have decided to go with one of these two diamonds. The folks at Ritani have been wonderful, especially Sylvana! I will be seeing the rings in person next week but wanted to get some opinions on the microscopic images,videos, specs, GIA cert, etc...

My main concern is if the .93 J will look yellow to the naked eye (compared to the .80) and if the twinning wisp is something to be worried about. I feel the .80 I SI1 will be a safer choice but I would like to get the biggest diamond possible with similar specs. The .93 also scored better on the HCA. Also, should I be worried about the Med Fluorescence on both?

I'm planning on proposing to my wonderful lady on Valentine's Day and am counting the days, hours & minutes...

I am more concerned about inclusions on the SI2 than the J color.

Thank you for your reply JulieN. Do you think the .93 inclusions will be visible to the naked eye? Would the fact that it is an excellent help with that? Also, I've heard that twinning wisps are less visible than other inclusions. Lastly, is there another link from PS that shows magnified images of inclusions vs. non magnified images (10 inches away)? Thank you!

You need pictures of the actual stone and gemologist to examine them for eyecleanliness.

Doesn't Ritani send you two rings if you pay for them both, and then refund you for the ring you don't buy?

Yes, I'll be seeing the two rings in person tomorrow. The gemologist told me that they were both eye clean and great looking diamonds. I hope I can discern which is the better of the two. Which one do y'all think is the best buy? Thanks!
