Advice on this stone

I updated in another thread, but I wanted to put this stone out there for advice. I purchased a 1.7 from James Allen which had a couple of inclusions I was worried about. Although I can't see them without a loupe, it kind of bothers me to know they are there. In the meantime, I found an additional diamond from James Allen and was waiting for them to send me the AGS report. It also has some inclusions, but I feel like the white ones won't bug me as much as the black ones. I could be wrong. I went ahead and held it, just in case I decide to switch them out. I would appreciate any input. It is graded AGS Ideal and is H&A by James Allen's standards. Price is the same.

It *looks* like it could be a nice stone but without the angles and/or an aset image we cant tell you much. Give us a link to the
report when you get it.

I could only save the file as a PDF. The stats are listed below. They do not have an ASET image. Only the ideal scope.

Thanks!

Table 56.5%
Depth 61.2%
Crown 34.1

That inclusion still concerns me, it's location especially. It's better than the previous one, being a lighter inclusion, but still, right up top in the center of the table is still something I'd be wary of.

Funny, the guy at James Allen told me I was more likely to see the white crystal than I am the black mark, whatever it is. Doesn't look like a crystal to me. He is a salesman though, not a gemologist. My boyfriend is absolutely in love with the stone we have and thinks I'm crazy to get rid of it since neither one of us can see anything without a loupe. At this point, he is ready to buy me a smaller stone with IF clarity so I won't be so picky.

Maybe look at VS1 if you're concerned more about clarity. You'll have better luck because that's almost certainly going to be eye clean.

A bit confused, you can only see the inclusions when you use a loupe?

So you want a stone that you can't see inclusions even with a loupe? a IF clarity?

I don't mind diamonds with inclusions as long as they are eye clean. I'm just not sure about inclusions that are smack dab in the middle of the table. I think I may eventually see them.

There are no problems with that diamond. If it fits your price, you should purchase it without reservations.

OK, I got ya

Do you think that because you see it with a loupe and also with that big magnified picture you look at, you know it has that inclusion and well, I may not see it but it is there....in the mind, so to speak.

For what it is worth, for me if it is eye clean (I can't see it without a loupe) that is all I need, I don't carry a loupe with me, nor does anyone who would look at my diamond.....if you can't see it now, I don't think you will in the future, but only you know if you can't see it can you be happy with it.

Exactly! It isn't "mind clean" so to speak. To be honest, I probably wouldn't have thought twice about the inclusion if several people hadn't pointed out that it may not be eye clean. But I don't regret asking for opinions. If I was 100% sure about the diamond, I would have never asked for advice.

Can I be happy with it even though I can't see it? That is what I am trying to decide.

OK, I am likely much older than you, so I guess I am speaking from experience....my take is that this will bother you for a very long time, maybe to the point of disliking a very beautiful diamond. You need to be happy with that diamond NOW, if you are not, you will not likely ever clean it in your mind....talk to your boyfriend, tell him your feelings, talk with the vendor about exchanging it, tell them your concerns, together you can work it out......kind of like forgiving but not forgetting or buying that new car that had a scratch

Since you've mentioned waffling on mind-cleanliness, and you are waffling on the current stone, I don't think the one you have in possession OR this new one are the "ones."
