All,
I am working with Brian Gavin on an engagement ring and I''m so close to being done. The setting is complete and now we''re just looking to find the perfect center diamond. My girlfriend wants a radiant and she has repeatedly pointed out rectangular one''s (about 1.20:1.00 ratio) as the shape she likes. Unfortunately, find a diamond with a ratio like that is very tough and in the past month we have only been able to come up with the following stone. The first thing that caught my eye was the different looks the short ends have than the long ends. It''s almost like the "broken glass look" is happening on the ends and not on the sides. Am I wrong or is this completely normal for a radiant? Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
