Hi, i'm looking for the perfect rock for an engagement ring and after a month of looking, I think this may be it. The one thing i'm worried about is that when I finally see it in person, it will lack that shine and brilliance. Can you all offer some feedback on this diamond? Also, is G too low on the scale? Will I notice color?

It will be set in this ring.....

My Search Criteria over the past month below......

Carat - 1.6 - 2.0
G or greater
VS2 or greater
Table/Depth 59-70%
Symmetry - VG or greater
Polish - VG or greater

Do you guys have any other suggestions on another diamond off James Allen? I think I have decided on them, but if anyone feels a reason not to, please let me know....

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

When shopping for loose diamonds online, I find the bluenile.com has the best deals. I would take a look there. The cushion stone you selected is a beauty. Blue Nile might help you compare prices.

Blue Nile does not have images and its very difficult to buy a fancy cut stone without images. BN is fine for round OR if you
are willing to take the chance with ordering a fancy and having it be a nice one. I have seen a few people do well.

You need to request an ASET image so you can look at light return. JA will give you 3 ASETs so people usually pick their
top 3 stones to compare.

Edit ---

G should not be too low on the color scale unless you are very color sensitive. Can you give me your budget for the stone
so I can look for others that you can compare with.

Edit ---

I like the look of this one if you want something to compare with it. I like the faceting pattern better on this one. Its an SI1
so you would have to ask if its eye-clean.

I generally found blue Nile to be more expensive than some of our other dealers. WF beat them by quite a bit!
