I like this diamond I saw at Solomon Brothers website:
http://www.solomonbrothers.com/Diamond_45YF3797

Can someone advise me it is a good one? Unfortunately they do not have the crown / pavilion percentages or angles. The depth and table percentages seem to be pretty OK. I do not mind the Si1 clarity grade. I am not sure how SB grade their diamonds in their diamond search on their website. (i.e. "excellent"/"very good" etc. plus they dont seem to have "ideal" cut in this search) . When I talked to a person there he seemed to point out to GIA reports, but as far as I understand GIA does not give information about the cut grade for diamonds. Neither do they have any sarin/firecope datas...

Thanks in advance for any responses!

I found the cert for that stone on their site

1. Can't really say anything about performance from just table/depth. Images (IS/ASET) are especially important with fancies.

2. GIA does not grade cut for princesses, but AGS does, can your SA point you toward some AGS0 princesses? Otherwise seeing the stone - or, if buying unseen, images are the real indicators of performance.

Ditto, no way to tell princess cut with just numbers. Will need an ASET image but SB will not be able to provide.

Unfortunately images are essential and as SC says I don't think SB offer them. However you could ask them.
