Advice on this 1.51ct stone??

After more research and searching on my part, my jeweler has brought in the following stone for my viewing. I would also love to hear from the experts on your feelings on the "faint yellow" fluorescence. As a newbie to the world of diamonds should I pass on a faint yellow? I viewed the stone in a color tray in several different lighting conditions (including outside natural sunlight) and couldn''t pick up on the faint yellow. The specs are below. What do you think about the price? Thanks in advance I appreciate your guidance!!

I, too, would pass, based on the yellow fluoro, the "Good" polish, "Very Good" symmetry and the fact that it's a little deeper than what I prefer. I think you can do better...

The proportions of this diamond are good, no worries there, but I would also rather find a diamond with blue fluorescence, so I would look some more.

I plan on going back today at lunch for a second look. Is faint yellow fuorescence something to really be alarmed about if it doesn''t appear to effect the stones color? I did a search here in the forum and found that googleman was extremely impressed with his 3ct stone that had faint yellow fluorescence.

I guess it is a personal choice, if it has no affect on the colour and you don't plan on reselling the diamond, then it may not be an issue. I would get an independant appraiser to give their opinion before the sale becomes final, that could give you some reassurance. But hopefully one of the experts might be able to advise you better, I can see one has logged in!

First of all I would like to let you know how appreciative I am for the quick replys.
Quick update... Just went in to have another look at the stone and was very pleased. The jewler had several stones with different degrees of fluorescence (both yellow and blue) grouped for my viewing under UV light. The yellow emmited under UV is nothing to speak of in my opinion. Next to a stone with no fluorescence I had a difficult time distinguishing between the two. I then took several stones of varying colors, 1.4-1.55cts and was unable to notice the yellow fluorescence on this stone. With that being said, I am having this stone sent over to an independent appraiser (of my choice or course) on Monday. After bringing the fluorescence to the jewelers attention as being my major concern I''m now certain that his asking price just dropped below 9k. I''m attempting to stay neutral at the moment, no matter how hard I would like to fall for this stone. Any other words of wisdom??

After much waiting and a few sleepless nights, I picked up my finished E-Ring today. Just to bring you up to speed... After receiving the ring back from the appraiser I pulled the trigger on this stone. I was weary of the faint yellow but the appraiser insisted it wasn''t an issue in this stone. In fact so faint that he had to call in another appraiser with a larger UV lamp to verify the findings on the cert. The stone is completely eye clean and full of fire. With the jewelers help, I created the E-Ring and band. White gold with small accent stones (1 tcw on E-Ring and 1tcw on the band) that run halfway down the shank topped off with a platinum 4 prong head. Discussed the issue of safety of 4 prongs with jeweler and he has readily agreed to reset in 6 prong should we change our mind. Now comes the proposal planning!! I''m so excited. For starters, the local jeweler provided me with 2 lighted ring boxes. One has a soft white light while the other provides a sharper true light. I hope to find a nice wood box either Cherry or Amber to install the one of the lights. I''m all about the presentation now that I''ve selected the center piece
