Advice on Oval Cut

I have seen this diamond in person and I liked it but I am worried about the depth.

This is a very shallow stone indeed. I am not aware of the proper specs for ovals, but you can view the tutorial on Fancy Shapes and see what it says. 52% is the lowest depth I have seen for a diamond listed here on Pricescope. I would pass on this stone and continue to look for something less shallow, as if the girdle is too thin due to the shallowness of the depth, then you run a risk of chippage on the stone. Good luck.
