Advice on not so perfect diamond

H-VVS2 based on those pics, but it’s hard to say based on pics!

Does the symmetry just look better or are you noticing other differences? I need to figure out better picture taking

To my (untrained) eye it looks more symmetrical, with less darkness

The largest is an earring. IVS2. At best this is VG cut. The stone in the ring and the loose stone get a lot darker when under direct light than the earring does. Maybe I'm over thinking it, but I feel like both of the stones are dark.
