Hey guys,
Quick question, I have this diamond https://enchanteddiamonds.com/diamonds/view/R206-BPBT4S and looking at ideal it appears to be good or very good I believe. It's a pretty diamond! Well its the only one I've found with ideal and aset. So I decided to use HCA to narrow down my other results. This one came back a 3.6. Now I have others that received a better score, should I narrow down to those or is it possible for a high HCA score to be a "better", I guess so to speak, diamond? Here are some others I am referring to, all J, VS1 or VS2, Ideal:
1.) HCA 2.6: https://enchanteddiamonds.com/diamonds/view/R222-G2TGBW
2.) HCA 0.9: https://enchanteddiamonds.com/diamonds/view/R222-G2TGBW
3.) HCA 1.3: http://www.bluenile.com/build-your-own-ring/diamond-details/LD05843329
4.) HCA 3.6 (the same as one posted in first paragraph): https://enchanteddiamonds.com/diamonds/view/R206-BPBT4S
All that being said, 3 is a little more than I want to spend. I am 1000 times more critical in my diamond search and criteria than she is, in fact I've been making her critical (should keep my mouth shut). She said if it came down to it get a 2.1 or 2.2 over a 2. So I am positive of these 4 she would be blown away by them all and couldn't tell a difference if she tried, I just wanted to come for a tad more settling guidance.
Last quick question, if blue nile won't sell me a setting can someone suggest a good place to have this one made, I know this is EXACTLY the style she wants, the thin 1.7mm is important haha!
