Hello all, firstly I just wanted to say this community has been a wealth of information. I'd like to have a few more well-trained, well-versed eyes take a look at this particular stone and tell me your thoughts if you would all be so kind? I believe I have all the pertinent information below but please let me know if there is anything further required. My questions mainly concern the Idealscope and HCA analysis.

One of my main questions is with regards to the IS, the center of the stone (I am not sure the proper name) appears ever so octagonal versus completely circular. While the IS image in that area does not show white, but rather pink, does this just signify the stone is slightly deep but still consistent with the "Excellent" light return rating since it is not white? Also, is the feather shown both on the GIA report and IS a cause for concern? I was able to view an actual image of the diamond online and that feather appears under 20x while looking at the stone top down which I would expect but soon becomes hard to see as you zoom away or look from a different angle. The stone is a hair under $6k which is basically the upper bound of my price range. I believe based on the above information and my research that this was a good selection and I still plan on viewing it in person before feeling fully content, but like I said, I was hoping to get some extra perspective on things.

Thank you!

It is a very good stone but it doesn't it doesn't have the exacting precision of some more precisely cut stones. This is causing a few pink areas, but it is not a problem.

A VS2 feather should not be a problem.

Looks like it should be a nice stone.

Thank you both for taking a look. I appreciate the feedback on the IdealScope as well as the feather. I am looking forward to it arriving so I can see it with my own eyes in person but getting some third-party confirmation on the quality was extremely helpful in advance of it's arrival.
