Hopefully some of the experts will give you their opinions soon. Something to consider is that these are two very different kinds of cuts. One is a brilliant cut and the other a step cut. The optics will be quite different. Have you seen them in person? Do you have a preference? I generally don't like to evaluate diamonds based solely on their aset images. Tagging a couple of PSers who are very good at this. @DejaWiz and @Kim N thoughts?

The VG symmetry on the cushion seems accurate since it appears to have very minor leakage in the pavilion area.

Hopefully JA can provide ASET images for the Asscher.

the aset for the asscher is posted above. thank you.

Not a result of the vg symmetry.
It has some over steep facets under the table.
Similar in effect to over steep lower girdle/halves angle in a MRB.

Asscher ASET is ok, Their asscher ASETs almost always come out over green due to a girdle alignment issues.
The video is needed to tell anything else.

no bad, not great.
Grading report? the inclusion in the table may be visible under some lighting/viewing conditions. That would need to be checked by them.

Yea, i'm happy with the cushion. I think i need to revisit the table with the asscher.

Would that be a contributing reason for the VG instead of EX, out of curiosity?

No, being over steep would not effect the symmetry grade unless they broke it to make them steep.
In that case the grade would be lower than VG.

Awesome, thank you, Karl.
