Advice on Custom Jewellers in Toronto or Ottawa

Hi All, I'm new here and have been scanning the forums for some advice on what custom jeweller to work with. What I'm looking for is a custom piece using the pictured ring as inspiration. So based on the style of this ring, who might be a good custom jeweller to work with? My line of thinking is that it makes the most sense to work with someone who has expertise in designing rings in this style with the pave halo & pave diamonds accenting the split shank - I think I'm using the correct terms anyway...

I have reached out to a couple of designers in Toronto based on my research here but I'm interested to hear from some people with more experience in jewellery buying/designing. I live much closer to Ottawa but I'm willing to travel to Toronto if it means working with the right designer.

Made an account just to let you know where my fiance went for mine in Ottawa! It's called True Bijoux on sparks street - sister store of Howards which is next door. It was great because even when I decided on the setting, Ellie who was amazing took me to Howards to ensure I was 100%. We recommended her and True B. To my girlfriend and her bf for a custom ring which she is extremely happy with and wouldn't change anything. They were a little late on the deadline and provided a good gift certificate to a very nice restaurant as an apology (even though the bf didn't have a strict timeline).

Ellie there is an excellent person to deal with. Knowledgeable and even if my fiance hadn't worked in jewelry before, she probably would've given us a great deal regardless. We keep going back to her!
