Fantastic diamond and welcome!

Super cut and should be an excellent performer. Also the HCA is a elimination tool rather than a selection, anything under 2 is desirable, and this diamond has a great Idealscope image, so we don't need to go by the HCA score as such. An I colour is where the industry believe the average, untrained eye may begin to perceive a hint of warmth, particularly from the side, but having said that, an I is PLENTY white for many people! There are ladies here who have J stones set in platinum, and they face up beautifully white when the cut is great. So I would think you would be fine.

If you want to, you could see if you could view some I colour in person ( similar cut and lab graded) but if you aren't happy with this diamond, JA do have a return policy.

looks great! I agree with Lorelei-try and go to a B&M and look at a couple of I stones. I have an I stone and I adore it. It''s very white.

It looks like a great stone and I think the color will be fine.

I agree with bee*. Go to a store and compare the differences in color. It would answer your question.
