Hi guys,

My fiancee ordered me this ring and I don't know if it will have sparkle or fire because of the large table size and crown pavillion angle (yes i know my stuff).

Should I politely tell him that I want something different, or do you think this diamond will be brilliant AND have fire. I don't want to get a dead diamond (especially for what he's paying!) or for him to get ripped off

:) Thanks in advance!

It shouldn't be a dead stone but it is a 60/60 stone with a larger table and low crown as compared to a Tolkowsky ideal-cut - so it will be brilliant with a lot of white light return and somewhat less fire as compared to a Tolk - if you want a balance of white light and fire, a diamond with Tolkowsky ideal-cut parameters may be a more suitable choice for you.
