Hi Ade

The diamond has great potential, can you post the images for the stone to include the hearts image if applicable too please?

The diamond looks great and is of excellent quality, super choice!

beautiful!!!

Hi Lorelei,

Thank you so much for your assurance and prompt reply! :)

This diamond was recommended to me by Lesley, after I told her my DH budget and what I am looking for.

I am sooooooo happy after seeing your comments.

The price was around USD13,000. Is it value for $?

Cheers,
Adejoy

You are most welcome, it should be a beauty!

The price is fine, BGD are competitively priced, you can check the prices of similar using the search by cut feature above.

Hi Lorelei,

Thanks! I feel more at ease now. :)

I am also working with BGD on customisation of my ring setting.

My preference is a 6 prongs tiffany style with round pave settings.

Will post the CAD drawings online for feedback and everyone''s opinion, once I hear from them.

My only concern now is my ring size. ;p Will check with Lesley again.

THanks again!

Cheers.

I am glad you feel at ease, I think you have picked a beautiful diamond! The setting sounds wonderful, will be really interested to see how everything comes together, its an exciting time!!

Looks good, good luck.

Nice stone! The price will be a bit higher due to the E color and VS1 clarity.

Thank you all for the feedback.

I just love this PS forum.

Has anyone visited BGD website for the past 2 days?

When I try to log in, there is a message saying system under maintenance.

I have tried to email them yesterday morning, to follow up on CAD. However, I have not gotten any reply.

I am getting very worried now as this is my first time buying such a big ticket item.

Does anyone has any idea how I can get in touch with Brian or Lesley?

Your advice is greatly appreciated!

I wouldn''t worry too much. BGD was probably closed yesterday because of the Sabbath. I am also getting the same message when I go to their website, but I am sure they will have it fixed in time for business on Monday. Maybe someone will come along later with a direct # for them. But again, I would not worry about your diamond or your project. BGD has a great reputation and you are in great hands.

Yes, their website seems to be down and they do not work for sabbath. But they often are there on Sundays if you call!

Your diamonds looks great. Were you looking for such high clarity and color? You could save a lot of money by dropping to a VS2 and perhaps a G color. But it is up to you!

BGD is a fantastic vendor--no need to worry--I''m sure they''ll get back to you by tomorrow. Check the email they sent you previously, there is probably a direct phone number in the signature.

Thanks for all your suggestions, Onedrop, dreamer_d and bella_mezzo.

Will try to search for their no.

Dreamer_d, I was initially looking at D colour and VS1, but took up the E stone instead as it is 0.2 bigger than the D colour.
The price difference is ard usd1000 plus.

Oh yes, I know the price difference when we are talking about VS and colorless range! Lots of money. If that is your desire, go for it. I am simply pointing out (in case you do not know, many consumers do not) that you can go VS2 and still not see inclusions and can probably go F/G in color and still havea blazing white stone and save even more money. But color and clarity are personal preferences, not beauty factors, and it is your money to spend how you wish!

I think saving 1k and going with E instead of D is a great choice. The diamonds will look incredibly icy.

They said on Facebook they are changing the website this weekend and it might not be available.

Hi Adejoy,

Please don''t be concerned. Our prolonged maintenance schedule has taken down our e-mail system too, so as soon as we are up and running again we will be able to get back to you and any other people who were expecting responses.

Thanks for the reassurance and trust from all of you.

Hi Lesley,

I am so glad to receive your response in this thread.

Your reply has certainly put me more at ease.

I hope fellow PS forumers who are waiting for replies from BGD will get to see this reply from Lesley.

Hope to hear from u soon Lesley!

I just received my diamond ring from BGD. Absolutely stunning!

As mentioned, with the better cuts, you can get away with lesser color grades or clarity grades. My diamond was just over 1 carat, H color, SI1. It is definitely "eye clean" and is very bright. Talk with Leslie, she will take care of you can let you know where you can compromise.

Hi Jackers,

Congratulations on getting your stunning BGD diamond ring!

I am certain that it is a real beauty... Am so happy for u!

Pls post a photo for us on this forum if your time permits.

I will be receiving my CAD on mon. :)

I am so looking forward to it...

I''ve received the glamour shot photos from Lesley!
