Welcome to Pricescope!

In my opinion you can do better, the table is a bit large on this diamond, and the crown and pavilion angles could be within tighter range - ( CA 34- 35 deg / PA 40.6- 41 deg) for example. Is this diamond with an online vendor?

Nope, not from an online store. It's from a dealer in my country.
But from my girl expression, i can see that she's really in love with this diamond.

Acutally, my concern is that, will this diamond sparkle, due to being only F colour and VS2. And is it really that bad having a big table ? I've tried using the tools from www.pricescope.com , and the reply is that this's a good buy if the price is right. But how reliable is that ?

Cheers

It''s not just colour and clarity that make a stone sparkle. Cut, the table, depth, crown, and all that, are the most important factors in how a diamond sparkles.

I do agree that the table is large and you could do better, but if you''ve seen the stone in person and like the why it looks then maybe it is the stone for you.

The colour and clarity isn''t what will give a diamond sparkle, it is cut quality. This diamond scored a 3 thereabouts on the cut advisor, so it appears the cut proportions could be improved on. Having said that, if your GF loves this diamond that is the main thing. I would recommend you both look at some more diamonds with AGS0 cut grade diamonds, that way you will be looking at some proven well cut stones, so you can tell if the one in question is the right diamond.
The Holloway Cut Advisor is basically used for rejection, not selection. The idea is, that a diamond should score 2 or below, if so, then it is worth further evaluation. Diamonds which score above 2 in some cases are considered to be lesser performers. You can certainly get a better cut, the larger table isn''t of huge concern, as some like that look, but I would really recommend you look at some more diamonds before you commit to this one. Until you have seen a few stones, even those with a mediocre cut can look dazzling in some lights, take them out into everyday lighting, then you may notice the diamond doesn''t sparkle that much.

Well said Addy and Lorelei.

CUT quality is KING - it is the KEY to sparkle AND visual apparent size!
A well-cut diamond will LOOK bigger and sparkle more than a commercial or average cut larger carat diamond! Regulars to PS will likely have seen this comparison before (photo credit to Garry Holloway). The stone on the left is actually smaller carat weight (0.8 carat) than the one on the right (1 carat), but it looks larger because it has the topmost cut quality and hence is returning light from edge-to-edge.

with the holoway advisor giving a 3, you can difinitely do better, especially for the price. Check out some of the PS prefered vendors. They will DEFNITELY be able to help you find a good stone. Let us know what you are looking for and we can help you out.

Ditto Lorelei,
The table is slightly large, you want one in the 54-57% range with a depth between 60-62. F/VS2 is actually quite high color and clarity in my opinion, so you have nothing to worry about there. Cut is really what determines sparkle rather than color and clarity and you can easily find a better cut stone in my opinion.
