Advice needed, why is there such a big price difference?

Hello! Im looking for some advice/insight on why these 2 lab diamonds differ so much in price. The stats are nearly identical. Im looking for a round lab diamond approx. 1.5 carats in J-I color with VVS2-VVS1 clarity to put into a yellow gold solitare setting with a hidden halo. What are your thoughts on these 2?

I'm not a fan of the 33.5/57 combo but it can work.
Avoid a 40.3 pavilion in a ring.
I think you can do better than either of them.

I'm not a huge fan of either of them. Do you need VVS clarity? In that size, VS1 and VS2 will be eye clean

Dont necessarily need VVS2 no, just looking for an eye clean diamond. Thanks a lot for these suggestions, might just have to buy the diamond loose and have a local jeweler put it in a setting for me. Doesnt look like ritani has the hidden halo solitare that im looking for unfortunately

Check art of jewels, which has the same inventory and more setting choices. Same stone prices generally.

The mains(arrows) stay dark to much over distance and tilt and are very dark up close.
Ear ring and pendant distance the issues are not visible.
They are related to obstruction and obstruction decreases over distance. For example at 10 inches its approximately 30 degrees and at 32 inches its approximately 10 degrees.

Went with the 1.54 carat you linked and a custom made ring from Ritani, thanks again for all your help! Would have easily spent an extra 1k on the other diamond.
