Advice needed, eternity band related

Hi Everyone,

I am tossing up between getting an eternity band to wear with my RHR (which is rose gold) which has my mothers diamonds in it, or getting it made in white gold (perhaps with pink sapphires) in which case I could wear it with my ER. I love the style of my ER, though hoping for a stone upgrade one day, and in the meanwhile had it and my wedding band reset a few months back, but although they look okay together, I''m not in love. My DH is so so so tired of hearing about it ... and has agreed I can get a new anniversary / baby band.

So, I will post pics of both and hope for some advice on which to get. My RHR has a white gold head anyhow, so I could probably get away with wearing white with it but I hate having to have white gold rings rhodium plated (I never knew this before my recent reset because they were previously rose gold, and I wish I''d kept that as it''s more interesting I feel considering my diamonds alone aren''t stunning).

If only I can work out how to do a poll!!

mums ring - diamonds are definitely not the greatest, but I have tried it on with this style eternity (except it had milgrain as well which matched this ring, and it was white gold) and it looked really nice, except the one I tried was very fine, this one perhaps looks a bit wider but I can''t be sure as I don''t have exact measurements. OK, having trouble attaching again ...

I really like that eternity band setting and think it would look nice with your e-ring. I would put diamonds and
pink sapphires in it.

I cant really comment on having it done in pink gold and worn with your RHR since you havent
posted a picture of your RHR yet.

and either rose or white gold would be splendid! but it sounds like white gold might be out of the running due to having rhodium redipping?

thanks so much D&T and tyty, white gold with alternating white diamonds and pink sapphires could be really nice, and last night I saw a beautiful white gold set that had never been re-plated (very similar to my own set in style) and they actually looked great in my opinion and a bit more antique-like, which personally I do like. So, I''m actually quite open to white gold again, and I think that with the pink sapphires would at least be a nice change, rather than just another ring with white diamonds. I don''t know why I can''t post my RHR!! I will try again ... but beginning to think I might be sold on the white with pink sapphires, and one day I might get a couple of stacking bands in rose gold to wear either side

sorry about the poor props! they are all 40yo diamonds and unfortunately not the best but they have a lot of meaning
