Thought I''d share these words of wisdom that the guests at my bridal shower gave me last weekend:
1. Laugh together as much as you can
2. Don''t get mad at the little things
3. It''s okay if the silverware doesn''t match!
4. Don''t take the simple things for granted
5. After the kids come, always take time for each other
6. Patience
7. Never start a habit you will need to break
8. Always keep the lines of communication open
9. Never say something he did is okay or great if it''s not; it sets a lower standard than you deserve
10. Do your part but don''t take any guff
11. Don''t cook too much because they expect it all the time then; take out is fine!
12. Keep your mouth zipped and you will be happy
13. Remember these magic words: "please", "thank you", and "i love you"
14. Be responsible for your own happiness
15. Fight a little, make up a lot
