I''ve almost hit the purchase butt and I''m trying to decide between two H & A from whiteflash.com. Between these two, I had decided on the .77 instead of the .70, giving up one grade of clarity from a VS1 to a VS2, until I noticed that the Hearts on the .77 were not symmetrical. Some hearts seem a little curved on edges and as they headed towards the center of the stone, they bent inwards slightly. I didn''t even notice it upon many inspections of the image. Will that affect that stone at all from a brilliance/fire perspective, or is it just miniscule and I just just go with the larger, similarly priced stone? Everything is the same, (proportions are similar,) except for the clarity and size of the stone.

.773, F, VS2 (Preferred)

.70, F, VS1

Thanks so much,
Zach

The deviation you're seeing is most likely just the photo taken from a slight angle - it's hard for even the pros to get the diamond dead-on every single time.

If you're really concerned ask them to retake the pic

I wouldn't hesitate to call them both H&As.

That is probably due to image set up when the hearts is being taken for the stone, request for that image to be retaken.

Hi Zach

This can happen as a result of taking the image, in this case I think asking for a retake is justified.
