Advice before purchase

I’ve been searching the forum for the past few months and am finally ready to make a decision. Using the priceless information on this forum I have narrowed down my search to two stones. I believe they are nice diamonds but would like some final opinions/advise before making the purchase. Also, are these GOG diamonds comparable to ACA diamonds from WF? Thanks in advance!

Both stones are very much comparable to the WF diamonds. I''d take stone #2 just because it''s a wee bit less deep, but it''s really a toss up between the two..

yes they are comparable to ACAs...

Look at the clarity plots. # 2 is SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER THAN#1 ( #1 has a fairly significant feather in the pavilion )

That's a pretty significant difference.

I wouldn't call any properly graded GIA/AGS vs2 feather significant in a 1ct diamond.

All I can tell you that the ACAs from Whiteflash are beautifully cut stones!!!.... because I have one!!

I hear good things about GOG, so I think you will be please with either stone!!!

The only question I would have.... Why are you asking whether the GOG stones would be comparable to the ACAs from Whiteflash?

MWG...It seems that GOG''s prices are a little lower for diamonds with similar metrics (H&A) so I wanted to confirm that they are comparable to ACA diamonds.

I really appreciate everyone’s help and will probably buy #2. This site has been extremely helpful…I can’t imagine buying a diamond without it.

WF''s ACA is a branded H&A cut so they charge a small premium for it while GOG''s stones are unbranded H&A, thus the slightly lesser price. Don''t forget to come back and post pictures of the ring.
