I just wanted to give a shout out to ADCO Diamonds in Boston. I have been a lurker on pricescope since 2009 and when my son asked me to help him find an e-ring I was thrilled. I knew his girlfriend like the antique looking rings like the one you would find at Kay Jewelers. So I turned to a reputable vendor here on pricescope. It didn't work out well no fault of the vendor. As far as settings go pictures don't tell the whole story. Very dissapointing. Anyway, I live 30 minutes from Boston and decided to go to the Jewelers Building I called several jewelers on my list and Aline at ADCO diamonds was wonderful right from the start. It was not what I had expected. After dealing with Mall jewelers I figured they were all alike but she was awesome. She answered all my questions, didn't act like I didn't need to know cut, clarity or color. I told her his budget and she didn't try to sell us anything above his price range. Set out several diamonds with different color and clarity. No high pressure sales. It was a great experience. We left with a beautiful .76 RB j colored stone which looked very white with the .50 H, I, halo. I couldn't believe how white it was. I wanted to check the specs in the HCA but my son was happy with what he saw. Apparently he has a good eye it score excellent in all areas on the HCA. I just want to thank everyone here on PS.
