Accidentally clicked on a link!

Can anyone advise? I accidentally clicked a link from an email (bitly link) on my Samsung 10. Nothing visably loaded, any my sons say chances are slim, but should I be worried??

it will interupt internet sessions and take me to a rather unsavory destination if you can imangine what i mean
i just click out of it

Most malware is designed for computers, not mobile devices.
Most often on mobile devices the uninvited emails are just spam. These ones tell you you’ve won a $100 shopping voucher or a new iPhone. They are trying to get personal information which often times is merely sold on so you can get 50 trillion more of these spam emails. More dangerous and devious emails attempt to get you to provide your personal details into fake website that resemble real websites. Such emails / websites are pretending to be a Government dept, your bank, PayPal. These are trying to steal your identity and/or money.
If you are concerned, I would restore your phone to factory settings, this deletes everything on it - both good and bad and then restart. It would be prudent to change all your passwords for any sites that have your personal details or bank information, also keep an eye on all your bank accounts / credit cards so if there is any unauthorised activity you can act immediately.
In this online world you should be closely monitoring your bank accounts /credit cards in any regard. Information theft can happen at the supermarket, ATM, Coffee shop.

Phone wiped, contacts and photos reinstalled. Email password changed. I don't bank on this phone nor use email for that. I'll change more passwords this week. An ounce of prevention...

I think you were smart to wipe it. You are more than likely safe now. My daughter had her phone destroyed by clicking on a malicious link. It still functioned but She kept getting **** pop ups that we could not stop. Tech support was no help either. We ended up replacing her phone. I had her change all passwords and we checked her credit reports as well. Expensive lesson learned for her and I warned my other kids and all my friends as well.

It was a stupid accident. I was multi tasking and tired and I hit it without thinking. So not like me but tired brain. Thank gosh for husband and son to do all the above!!!
