I found the dress....but I don't know how to accessorize myself.

Anyone have any suggestions for--

Jewelry? Should I "keep it simple, stupid"?
Veil length?
Head band? I'm not a big "sparkly tiara" type person, and I'm wearing my hair down. Is there such thing as a sparkly headband? Or should I not wear one at all? I love hair pins more than headpieces. HELP!!

Here's the dress. It's the casablanca 1827...except I'm getting it in white.
Here's sweetpeas thread...same dress...shows the detailing up close.

Here are the earrings I just won on ebay.
Not sure if these will be the wedding earrings, but I love them.

I love headbands, and saved this Jordana Brewster cover from InStyle Weddings (best pic I could find online, but I can scan my copy if you want a better/up-close view!)

call me crazy, but i'd do 9mm pearl stud earrings and call it a day.
no necklaces or anything else jewelry wise. i'm a fan of long veils which would look nice with this, though i think a nice soft flower would work well instead too.

it's such a romantic dress. so beautiful!!!

Funny, I was just going to suggest ebay as I am watching several rhinestone headbands on there, as well! I really like the simple earrings, but I do love those dangly ones sweetpea has posted in her thread, too. Again, I think you need to try jewelry on with the dress, take pictures, then look at them and see how you like the look. That''s the only thing that works for me! HTH''s!

Crappy picture I took of another clipping, BUT I like the match-my-hair-color-but-add-a-little-shimmer appeal of Drew''s multi-headbands:

I also love this "hair vine" by Tacori:

I totally agree! Pearl studs would be perfect.

I think the lace of the dress screams for romantic, classic pearls. I don''t know that you need to stop at stud earrings - I think drop earrings would be lovely, and maybe a pearl accented hairpiece of some kind. Oh, and a pearl bracelet, maybe? Not sure about the necklace - I think you''d need to try it on and see if it would be too much.

Anyway, for jewelry, I totally agree with the other posters. Something very simple (like pearl studs) would just amp up the class of this gown.

This gown is beautiful, and romantic looking. I would suggest simply antique-y looking jewelry..

Maybe earrings like these?

With a bracelet like this?

Musey, I love those headbands! That''s exactly what I''m looking for, if I end up going with one. I just hate the idea of "overdoing it"....ya know? errrr.

Do you think a bridcage veil would go with this dress? My FSIL sent me her elbow length veil that has pearls sew randomly throughout it...but it''s kind of poofy. I''m not sure if it''s supposed to be like that, or if it''s just like that because it''s wrinkly and been in her closet for the last five years. It seems kind of long to me though....I think I''d rather have a shoulder length veil, a birdcage veil, or no veil! I''m def not using her headpiece though, which makes me feel like I should use the veil in order to soften the blow. lol.

Hey, we're dress twins!

I'm doing stud cz earrings (no $$ for diamonds and I'm not a pearl gal), and a tight rhinestone bracelet to hide a tattoo on my wrist. No necklace.

For my hair, I have a crystal headband rather than tiara to add some hair bling.

For the veil, I'm wearing a fingertip length veil with rhinestones on the edges. It will be removed for the reception and my earrings will be switched to chandelier earrings.

That's pretty much it - what color did you order? I have the champagne with ivory lace, my wedding is next month : )

ETA: I just saw that you ordered it in white! I love it!

I like the first earrings you posted better. I also think that you can do whatever you want with the hair, because you can remove the veil so you won''t be overdone.

I''m very into all things sparkly so I''m not doing pearls, although I do love and wish I could wear one of those broach like bracelets like the one you posted rather than my stretchy rhinestone one that reminds me of prom because of my tattoo. Maybe I''ll change it - I mean who really sees the underside of your wrist at your wedding with any bracelet, even if it''s looser? I''m normally not so wierd about my tattoos, but I''ve had 3 removal sessions on that guy so it''s not in the best shape and I just never liked it - poor job by the tattoo artist, so I am in the process of removing it so I can have it redone by someone with some talent. But, I digress haha

Sweetpea...I''m excited to be your dress twin!! Seriously though, the dress was made for you.
I remember looking at your thread and thinking, "wow, what a pretty dress...I could never pull that off." so I just about died when I came home after buying it and did a pricescope search for it! lol

I just remembered that I saved this wedding hair photo! I think just a hair pin with a veil would look good, no?
(I''m so sorry I don''t remember who this is....but it''s a poster here. Starts with an M? Beautiful wedding? I''m awful, I know.)

I have a tattoo on my back I''m worried about! (I''m always weird about my tattoos. lol) I''ve heard that the dermablend make-up stuff works wonders. I think I might try to cover it up that way. I''m sure you could put it on your wrist too, if you wanted. Unless you''ve got some blisters or scabbing from the laser or something. You definitely have to let me know how the tattoo removal process goes!!!

I LOVE the hair pins and think they''d be absolutely beautiful!!!

Simple pearls, and for a veil, a mid-length really drapey one that is only in the back (no blusher).

lucky - dermablend does work! my BM used it on her two medium sized tattoos on her back. couldn''t tell at all!

Lucky, I don''t have any suggestions, but I do want to say your dress is gorgeous! I love it!
