About to take the plunge!! Help me decide between these two stones!!!

You won''t notice the difference in size when set, and they''re both top performers.

Basic questions are of course should I be worried about the H -I difference? And should I take a higher carat for clarity?

Help me decide! I''ll like to hear your opinions and what you would choose if you were in my shoes!

I''d go for the slightly bigger I color. Most women would always take the bigger diamond!

When mounted and worn on the hand these will give more or less the same look, check with Lesley to get her opinion.

Yap, both look good. Probably no difference unless you are comparing the 2 side by side.

Personally, I''d choose #1. She''s not going to need to know you had a very, very, slightly larger one in mind too, and if even if she did know the result will be practically the same. However, I know that plenty of people who are clueless about diamonds have the 4 c''s stuck in the head enough so they think "I" and "SI1" are inferior, and explaining the concept of eye-clean is just too difficult.

I''m going with the H, VS2 on this one. Probably very hard to tell the difference between the stones visually but on those two combos, I think I would prefer the H, VS. Just a mental thing!

I spoke with Brian and he also said the differences (size) I''d very very small especially when it''s mounted. So I went with the H 1.118 vs2

That is the one I would have gone with, regardless, you got a beautiful diamond.
