Even though I kind of understand ASETs, I am not the best at looking at them. Wanted to see if the experts see in any major problems or issues with this stone. There are two cloudy like things in the images, one under the table on one of the chunky facets and one at the end of the stone on the right.

The stone is eye clean.

I will just fix the link then take a look for you,

Its a beauty! Just check with Jon that the cloud inclusion isn't impacting performance ( I am sure the answer will be no but no harm in checking!!) I think the cloudy area you see is possibly a reflection of the culet or something else, I don't think it will be a problem - but check with GOG as they can tell you more. Its a gorgeous diamond and a superb choice!

Wow it is gorgeous! Go for it!!

I received the diamond today and completely love the color and sparkle. Size ain't so bad either.

The two inclusions shown in the microscopic images though are quite visible to the eye. I can see it now while typing and sitting up straight. I may want to return the stone because it affects my view of the diamond and it's beautiful facets. One of the two doesn't bother me, but the one under the table you can clearly see because of the chunky facets. It just looks like a little pinprick in the top facet from far away.

Now I don't know what to do, if I should return it or not. I would have to wait awhile to have another one w/n specs and I am not too patient when it comes to this. But, I will be wearing it forever and if he spent so much money on this, I think it should be perfect and it would be w/o that inclusion. I like these cushions for the chunky facets and this inclusion clearly blocks one of the facets for me (at certain angles). When I turn the ring around, it is not as visible. However, I am the one who gets to look at it all the time and enjoy the facets.

Since I don't have the experience of looking at diamonds for their clarity, my question is am I expecting too much.? Not for an SI stone but any diamond. Am I always going to see an includsion? Or really is just that SI's you can see with the naked eye and if we go VS2 or higher, I won't see anything and it will look perfectly beautiful inside.

whoops.
