I am about to buy an engagement ring and I need some help. I know she wants a pave setting due to the size of her hand. Her ring size is a 9 and she has big hands(not fat, she is 6"1). She feels that a pave setting will not get lost and not make the ring look smaller then it really is. I am working on a budget, about $5000. I would rather spend more on the center diamond then the setting. Where are good places to look? I am new to the e-ring buying experience. I have attached a picture to give an idea of what I am looking for except I would like the band to widen as it gets closer to the center diamond. Forgot to mention she wants a princess cut even though an emerald would probably look better on her hand. I have also looked at radiant but I haven't asked her how she feels about this cut. Please any help would be appreciated, I want to have everything ready for Christmas.
