My insurance adjustor called this morning and I should be seeing funds in my account to replace my lost ring tomorrow or the next day. I decided that I will just go ahead and upgrade the size to get what I really want. I started out with a 1 CT band.
At any rate, I decided to go with BGD and get the Classic U Prong setting. I am really loving the rose gold, but not opposed to platinum. My dilemma and point for advice is this: I wear a size 5.75 ring and am a petite woman. I originally thought something between .20-.30 would suffice, but now that I have started looking at what is available within my budget, I am leaning towards .30-.35 stones. The greedy diamond lover in me is saying go with the bigger stones, but the logical part of me is asking if I will really be able to tell the difference between a 1.5 CTW and a 1.75 CTW on a 5-stone ring. I know 2.00 is more than I want and out of budget anyway, but what do you think, PS family? 1.5 or 1.75?
